1. Democrats' response, when Ralph Nader is compared to their Presidential candidate: "The perfect should not be the enemy of the good."
2. Democrats' response, when reminded of the similarities between the two candidates of the two major parties: "Well, I'm voting for lesser of the two evils."
In the mind of Democrats, their candidate is simultaneously "good" as well as "the lesser evil." It must take an extraordinary feat of mental gymnastics to accommodate these two positions at the same time.
Holy Batman!! I just figured out who the Democratic candidate is.

Trivia Time
Here's some trivia for you.
1. Can you guess what this graph represents?
(Hint: The first data-point y-axis value is 63.06 and the last one is 56.69. The lowest value is 49.96 corresponding to 1996.)
2. What's your guess for the next data-point value on the y-axis?
ETA: The above graph represents the percentage voter turnout in the US Presidential elections from 1960 to 2004. [Source, though there's slightly different data available here.] When I first came across this data few years ago, I was really surprised to find out that the voter turnout in the US had been so low and hovered around the 50-55% mark. Here's the graph with values:
My optimistic guess for this year is that the percentage voter turnout will surpass the 1960 record.
